Julius Rutherfoord have announced the launch of their new Grounds Maintenance division. The London-based specialist cleaning company has been around for around 20 years and expanding its scope of business seems like a natural step in their organic growth.
Quite often we see cleaning companies employing regular cleaning staff to perform grounds maintenance duties. However, this new division is headed by Anthony Sharp, the newly appointed Grounds Maintenance Manager, who has been working in horticulture for a long time and has brought his expertise with him.
Anthony Sharp: “Qualified staff should be number one priority for everyone. Grounds maintenance is not just about our clients as such, but also about the people living, working and studying in the environment we take care of. We like to be quite interactive, answering any questions related to horticulture practices, such as choice of plants and bedding, and that does require relevant knowledge.”
One of their clients is Genesis Housing Association and both the site managers and tenants have remarked on the impressive standard of services. Moreover, residents’ sense of ownership has improved and motivated them to be initiative and contribute to their surroundings. For instance they put out plant pots with summer bedding to improve the area with colour.
The combination of Anthony’s qualifications and experience in horticulture and Julius Rutherfoord’s know-how and quality-driven attitude in cleaning has resulted in a highly efficient and successful new in-house division, as proven by the feedback.
