Little things make a big difference
Julius Rutherfoord has always been focussed on giving back to the local community and we choose the charities we support very carefully. To us, giving is not just about ticking the charity box, our staff love to roll their sleeves up and really get involved!
This month a new Charity Committee has been formed and it was agreed that our 2012/13 effort would particularly seek to support charities which enhance the lives of children. So on 29th June our HQ staff all supported the Wallace and Gromit ‘Wrong Trousers Day’ and wore their most crazy trousers into work to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit’s Children’s Foundation. This charity raises money to help improve the quality of life for sick children in hospitals and hospices.
Successful charity events during 2011 included; The Cancer Research ‘Race for Life’ and the Stroke Association Battersea Power Station Abseil.
