Julius Rutherfoord provides emergency cleaning to prevent South London school being closed
In October 2015, Julius Rutherfoord was contacted by a South London borough council to provide an emergency deep clean at one of their schools which was under threat of forced closure by Environmental Health Services over poor standards of cleaning and mice infestation.
Our reputation for excellence in the London cleaning sector, and our ability to mobilise an experienced team – from over 2,200 fully vetted cleaning staff across London – led to the council approaching us to rectify the situation and provide emergency remedial action.
Working alongside a third party pest control contractor, also appointed under emergency measures by the council, our cleaning teams performed a deep clean throughout the school to ensure that mice and other pests do not return. A representative of the pest control company commented:
“I was very impressed with how you and your team managed to help turn things around.
The difference was remarkable and I hope that everybody at the school appreciates the effort that went in to help ensure that they can open tomorrow.”
Our ability to mobilise teams to new sites and work with new contractors at short notice is testament to the processes, management and professionalism of our cleaning services; and the fact that we were called upon to provide such services over the incumbent cleaning company is confirmation of our reputation as London’s best cleaning contractor.
