Repeat business totalling over £10 million has been secured so far for the next five years, including re-tendered contracts for London Borough of Merton’s Children, Schools and Families premises, and The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple.
Julius Rutherfoord began cleaning Merton’s Children, Schools and Families premises in April 2009 following serious instances of Norovirus sweeping through schools. Since Julius Rutherfoord & Co came on board, Norovirus outbreaks have been effectively eradicated from the premises, with no outbreaks recorded for seven consecutive winters.
Meanwhile, The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple is an historic and prestigious 54,000m2 estate of Barristers Chambers, comprising 40 buildings and including gardens, library and church, all cleaned and maintained by Julius Rutherfoord since 2012.
Julius Rutherfoord & Co’s high environmental standards and use of chemical-free cleaning methods have helped boost the health and wellbeing of the facility and its users. Its dedicated teams have transformed the original marble flooring within the Great Hall by stripping and treating it with Twister Pads which use millions of microscopic diamonds to clean and polish without the use of any chemicals. The result was a sparkling clean, non-slippery floor which does not requires polish.
