Julius Rutherfoord & Co launches awards programme to celebrate the achievements of its team and help map out aspirations

Julius Rutherfoord & Co has launched a new awards programme – the JR & Co-Stars awards – to celebrate the dedication and hard work of cleaning operatives and the wider Julius Rutherfoord & Co team.

The JR & Co-Stars awards programme sees clients and colleagues invited to nominate Julius Rutherfoord & Co staff who have delivered excellent customer service, have gone above and beyond the line of duty, and have embodied the company’s core values – being Personal, Professional, Expert and Meticulous.

Verified JR & Co-Stars nominees (who are known as Co-Stars) receive a certificate and a personal congratulatory e-mail from Operations Director Chris Parkes. At the end of each month, the Co-Stars with the best nomination for each of the company’s core values will be awarded with a certificate as an Employee of the Month, and a £50 prize.

The next phase sees the monthly winners invited to a glittering end-of-year awards ceremony, with ten prizes each of £100 to give away for the top Co-Stars. An overall winner will also be selected as the JR & Co Star of the year.

Chris Parkes said, “We are committed to improving perceptions of the cleaning industry, and this includes raising the profile of the invaluable work that cleaning operatives perform, often out of hours or behind the scenes.

“Improving self-perception, and helping team members reach their goals and aspirations, is a fundamental part of this commitment. Our clients also recognise the value that we place on our cleaning operatives, and now have another channel to provide feedback and support.
