Julius Rutherfoord & Co Ltd will clean the premises on our contracts and carry out grounds maintenance and portering services to the highest standards in a professional manner, and will comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.

All employees are responsible for the honesty, quality and presentation of their work. The Company provides training and has established systems to assist employees in achieving the standards required. While we endeavour to clean to the highest standards and offer a service that we can be proud of, we recognise that we don’t always achieve our own standards. When a customer complains, we are committed to investigating the complaint and will do our best to put right all justified complaints.
The Company has implemented a formal and documented quality system that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, initially achieving formal certification in December 2003. In March 2009 we successfully achieved accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 and we are now combining our internal and external audits to encompass all 3 accreditations.
The Company, its Directors and Management are fully committed to this policy and its quality system. The objectives of this company are agreed annually at the bi-monthly Quality Health Safety and Environmental meeting. All employees are required to be familiar with the policy and objectives and follow all quality system procedures relevant to their work.
All Directors, management and staff are encouraged to offer input as to how our service performance can be maintained and continuously improved.
The Committee for Quality, Health, Safety, and the Environment is responsible for monitoring the quality system and reports regularly to the Managing Director on the system’s implementation, status and effectiveness.
